Hello everyone and THANKYOU so much for coming out to support the Holler If You Hear Me Tour. This was nothing short of explosive! Signal Path hit the road with about 16 new songs, a state of the art light and laser show, and their good friends the Pnuma Trio. It was amazing seeing so many old school path fans along the way and meeting so many new ones! And happy 2007 to you all! (thats right folks its the year of the pig!) First of all... THANKS to everyone who continues to support our music and share our vision of creative musical evolution. Over the last 2 years we have been compiling and composing music that we love, in hopes of sharing the sounds that have moved us, and continue to move us through the years. we have been collaborating with many musicians and many producers from across the country. Over the next 6 months I will be in the studio finalizing this vast project and distilling it all into a full length CD. Contents will include original compositions and performances from SP members both old and new. Including special guest performances from artists like Devon Phillips and Raashan Amad. We will also be including exclusive recordings from the 2005 line up that took place at Jungle Studios in L.A. which were produced and Engineered by James Lumb and Steve Reid. Ryan Burnett and Signal Path whats up with the PATH?Friday 07th of July 2006Aloha from Montana friends and family... A whole lot of folks have been wondering what in the heck is going on with Signal Path... we'll I'm here to tell ya. We are working on 2 studio albums and taking our sweet sweet time with it. We've been collaborating with Raashan Ahmad from the Crown City Rockers, Devon Phillips of Lenny Kravitz Band, James Lumb of Electric Skychurch, and many more to come. Don't expect a SP tour anytime soon... but you can expect the most refined, purest, and hottest Signal Path music to be released in the near future. Damon has been getting very involved in the local Missoula music scene and bringing in acts such as J Boogie, Kaskade, Deltron, Galactic and Atmosphere... For the most part we've been cold chillin in missoula and auditioning beautiful artists from around the country. thanks to you all who have made the journey out here for the wonderful collaborations. The side project Player's Club just hit two nights with Raashan from Crown City Rockers in Whitefish MT... thanks to everyone who came out for the freestyle free for all. The L.A. signal path sessions are currently in the works and we hope to have a preview for everyone by the spring. Recently many side projects have been budding including ryan's dn'b solo project Ezekiel... the new record is out on cirkus records and will be up for purchase on the site soon. Welcome back to signalpath.org We hope everyone is having a beautiful winter season. SP has been enjoying a restful hiatus in the snowy mountains of Montana. We're gearing up for a HUGE 2 night NYE run at Flanagan's Central Station in Whitefish Montana. Check our tour page for ticket prices, and special package deals. In the meantime the L.A. sessions with James Lumb are coming along beautifully. We're really taking our sweet time on this one... but from what we’ve heard so far, the wait will be worth it! (Release Date TBA) In the meantime, we've been experimenting with several different musicians from all over the country. We hope to announce the SP06 lineup just as soon as we're ready. We would also like to give a sincere thank you to everyone involved in the utterly wild evolution of the SP project. But first we would like to congratulate Sean P for winning the Signal Path Katrina Benefit Contest. He was the top contributor in helping us make a generous donation to the Tipitina Foundation. Check it online @ www.tipitinasfoundation.com Meanwhile SP was honored to be a part of the 2005 Earth Dance Peace Festival... and played to an energetic crowd in the California Indian summer night. SP is also featured in this month's Big Shot Magazine... covering the L.A. recording sessions that took place in May, through the eyes of James Lumb, our producer. We would also like to announce some very special upcoming events including a Portland Halloween show, Missoula Barnburner 2005, and a two night NYE throw-down in Whitefish MT. Check out the tour page for updates and possible changes. One of SP's many side projects, "Players Club Funk", will be headlining Missoula's Katrina benefit at Caras Park on Sept 30th. And last, but certainly not least, we would like to say goodbye to Dion and Frim who will not be joining us on the continuation of the 2006 Signal Path journey... we wish them the best of luck and the richest blessings for their own respective futures. As for the path of the path... We have accepted change as not only a vital part of life, but also as a vital part of this ongoing musical experiment. In effort to offer a helping hand to those in need, Signal Path would like to announce a two-week fundraiser for victims of Katrina. From September 6th through September 20th, 100% of all internet sales through this website will be donated to a New Orleans- based Katrina Relief fund. We will also be accepting donations. The biggest contributor will be contacted by phone or email and win a SP gift, honorable mention on our site, and will help us decide which charity or foundation to send the SP relief fund to. ::::: Meanwhile, back in Montucky, signal path brews some up for a one off appearance at the Earth Dance Peace Festival. ***Greetings friends... the Path crew wishes everyone an enlightened and restful holiday. 2005 is where it has always been- but we're all creeping up on it to see what it holds. Many exciting events are in place for SP. The band will be seeing different parts of the world for the first part of the year, then gathering at the end of January for a Wilma Theatre show in Missoula, MT on Feb. 4th. They will then be traveling to L.A. to record their first ever major studio album... the release date is not yet announced. Final touches are being made on the early Spring Tour which begins March 3rd and will take the band through MT, UT, WY, and CO... dates will be announced as soon as they are all complete. (Jambase seems to already be posting a few of the shows.) Also look for a LIVE SP PICKS album to be released in March consisting of select tracks from Fall tour '04. Let the past be the past. Let the future be the future. ***PEACE*** SP hits the shedThursday 04th of November 2004Signal Path will be kickin it in Missoula for the next couple of months to write, practice, gather, and reflect before a highly anticipated nationwide spring tour.
